Each resident at The Jewish Home is provided medical services by a primary care physician

• A resident may choose to be under the care of a Medical Director of The Jewish Home or another physician of preference

• Primary care physician visits are conducted on site

• Professional dental and podiatry services are available on site

• Diagnostic services conducted on site include:

• Blood draws for laboratory tests

• Accuchecks to monitor blood glucose levels

• Portable x-rays • Some IV therapy

• RN Unit Manager assigned to each unit to oversee the nursing care

• High staff to resident ratio with licensed nurses on each unit

• Assessments by professional, compassionate staff made on an ongoing basis starting prior to admission

• Nursing Units structured to meet the unique needs of each resident

• Social workers assigned to each nursing unit to assist residents and their families with a variety of professional services.
