July 29, 2022, Letter to Friends and Families
We appreciate that you entrust us with the care of your loved ones and thank you for your patience and cooperation. Our priority is the protection of our residents, staff and families at our facility.
We are monitoring the latest news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as the latest COVID-19 infection control guidance with relation to its impact on our residents and visitors . Our Visitation Guidelines are located in the COVID information page on our website.
For information about vaccination rates at nursing homes, please refer to CMS’s Care Compare site.
There were no resident positives this week. Three staff members tested positive and are currently out. There was a change in number on our staff count related to 2 additional staff who tested positive prior to return from vacation last week. Thank you for supporting our mitigation efforts in vaccinations, masking and socially distancing. We are continuing to follow CDC and department of health guidance related to contact tracing, isolation and testing.
