Under the direction of the Activity Director, the Activities Unit Coordinator will assist in planning, coordinating and implementing therapeutic activity programs on a daily basis to meet the individual Resident’s needs and interests. The Activities Unit Coordinator will be responsible for completing documentation on their unit in accordance with facility policies.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Carry out recreational/group activities as scheduled, including social, sensory stimulation, spiritual and therapeutic. Planning and attending outings with residents outside the facility. Assist residents at meal time. Oversee and assist with training of volunteers.
Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays.
