What inspired you to become a nurse?
My mother and my grandmother were RNs. Mom is a retired nurse practitioner, one of the first in NEPA. My grandmother graduated in the early 1920’s from Pittston Hospital. She was from Columbia County and lived in Millville. She delivered most of the babies at that time, as most were delivered in home and in the rural environment. I grew up with nurses and can’t remember ever not wanting to be a nurse from a little girl until now.
